AUTOVIA Car Rental at Catania Airport

When arriving at Catania Fontanarossa Airport in Sicily, please remember to collect your entire luggage before exiting the terminal. All the car rental companies at the airport are in different locations and you will find the Autovia rental desk situated closely outside the terminal. Once you have exited the terminal please turn right and continue for 50 m/164 ft, following the directions for "Vip Car Park" and the rent-a-car area.

Helpful information when renting an Autovia vehicle at Catania Airport

Out of hours pick-up service is available for a fee. The amount varies depending on the time of pick-up, and the service has to be requested beforehand.

When driving in Sicily you are only allowed to use your mobile phone/cell phone in hands free mode.

It is mandatory for all passengers to wear a seat belt while traveling in the vehicle. Children weighing less than 9 kg/19.84 lbs must travel in baby seats placed in the back seat facing the back of the car. Children under the age of 12 and of a height inferior to 135 cm/53.15 inches must travel on a dedicated child seat/booster.
